This
is a 1961 New York Yankees, Souvenir Baseball, with
Facsimile Autographs. Sold at Yankee Stadium, these
souvenir baseballs have been a fan favorite for decades. This is one of the first souvenirs kids get
when they go to their first Major league game, and for
Decades they also Played with them. (not as much today).
Most of them have been used to submission, or the
signatures faded over the years. But the few that make
it through the years are very desirable. The signatures
are stamped (printed) on, and are often mistaken as real
hand signed signatures. The sweet
Spot on this Baseball Belongs to Ralph Houk, and Mickey
Mantle signed in his old Style Autograph.
Yogi Berra is signed Larry Berra, and Whitey Ford is
signed Ed Ford. Newer souvenir
baseballs (1980s +)sell for $10-$15 Pre 80s $20 - $35
and Pre 70s as high as $100. A 1961 Baseball with Mickey
Mantle, and Roger Maris Signatures is very desirable,
and can sell for more.
