Dale D. Gear was the president. His tenure was from 1926 through 1935.
The Western League has been used many times in the history of
baseball. The first such league was formed in 1885. Today the
Western League was re-established in the US as an independent league, and is also one of two minor leagues in Japan.
This particular Baseball was signed by Babe
Ruth, and Lou Gehrig while on a barnstorming
