The
2009
Topps baseball card set consisted of 660 standard size baseball
cards numbered 1-330. As announced by Topps before hand,
17 "Legions of the Game" short printed variation cards
were added into the original Topps set of 330, plus two additional
unannounced cards for Barack Obama and CC Sabathia (as a Yankee)
raising the total to 349 cards. The additional cards featuring past
legends of the game were paired up with current superstars sharing
the same number of the set. The Additional cards are added to the
checklist with the B notation.
