The 1931 W517 baseball Card set consists
of 54 "hand cut" cards that measure 3" x 4".
The cards are generally found in sepia color, though
other colors, magenta, green, purple and blue, are known. The blank back cards feature the
player's name and team featured on the front along with
the card number, circled. The cards were sold in vertical
strips of three. The cards were reprinted in 1997 in three
card strips with "W-517" printed in the lower left corner.
