The
1975 Hostess baseball card set consist of 150 cards, with 3 error
variations for a total of 153. The hand cut cards approximately
measure 2 1/4" x 3 1/4" and the 3 card panels measure
approximately
3 1/4" by 7
1/4". The cards were made available,
printed in three card panels, on the bottom of specially marked
boxes of Hostess snack cakes such as King Dongs, Cup Cakes, and
Twinkies. However The Twinkies cards were printed with two black
printing bars on the back and have a separate checklist. The
Twinkies cards are otherwise the same, and were limited to 60 cards
of the 150. There are also variations of cards that were printed
without a border around the photo, or black "cut along"
lines. A Baseball Card Album was also available. The album which had
pre cut slots to insert the corners of the card into
also had a checklist.
