The
1997 Upper Deck baseball card set consists of 520 baseball cards that measure
2-1/2" by 3-1/2" The back of the cards feature
anti-counterfeiting holograms. The 1997 Upper Deck set
was issued in two series (series one 1-240, series two
271-520).
Cards
numbered 241-270 was part of an Update set, and was
available by mailing in 10 series one wrappers along
with $3 for postage and handling. Cards
numbered 521-550 was part of a Trade set, and like
the Update set was available by mailing in 10 series two
wrappers.
