27th National Scheduled for Anaheim

ANAHEIM - The 27th National Sports Collectors Convention is scheduled to be held at the Anaheim Convention Center in California. Dates are July 26-30, 2006.

From a gathering of a small group of baseball card dealers in a cozy Los Angeles hotel ballroom in 1980, the National Sports Collectors Convention - The National, has become the mega-event anticipated by exhibitors and collectors alike and attended by everyone interested in the sports and entertainment collectibles industry.

Last year's 26th National was held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont IL, a suburb of Chicago. Dealers, Corporate Sponsors and Attendees were all pleased with the activities at the 2005 National which included 70+ autograph celebrities and guests. Collectors were treated to the greatest display of quality memorabilia, trading cards and game-used items ever seen in one room. The 27th National Sports Collectors Convention will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim CA. The Southern California area hosted the very first National in 1980 and was also the site of the National in 1985, 1991 and 1996.The 27th National will take place from July 26-30, 2006.

Exhibit Area:  The National will be host to over 700 dealers and distributors, 50 Corporate Displays on a 400,000+ sq ft convention show floor.

Activities & Events: Activities include an Autograph Pavilion with 60+ athletes and entertainment celebrities, a VIP Admission Package with free autographs and gifts, a Kids Free Day plus a special Sneak Peek Night.
