This
All Star brand Major League Chest Protector was game used
by the New York Yankees catchers during the 1996
Championship season. The chest Protector is not
attributed to any one New York Yankee catcher. It could
have been used by either Joe Giardi, Jim Leyritz, or up
and coming rookie catcher Jorge Posada (or all three).
The Chest Protector is accompanied by a Letter of
Authenticity from Steiner Sports Collectibles. It show
great game use, with plenty of Yankee Stadium
dirt.
