National Baseball Hall of Fame, The Legends of Baseball
500 Home Run Club set consist of 12 coins measuring 38mm
(almost 1.5") in diameter, and 20 grams of .999 pure
silver. This Cooperstown Commemorative Collection features
a coin mounted into a baseball card backing, for each of
the first 12 members of the 500 Home Run Club, that were
inducted into the Hall of Fame at the time of issue in
1990.
Each "Pure Silver proof is a Limited issue and
may be redeemed for $25.00 admission value at the gate of
the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown New York, Admission is
valid through December 31, 1991" The front of the card
features a player photo with a facsimile signature, and an
action shot of the player's swing with the number of
career home runs. The back of the card features a short
biography and player stats. The Coins are sealed into the
baseball card holder, that comes in a collectors tin with
a Certificate of Authentication and a Free Official
National Baseball Hall of Fame Collectors Pin.
