This
is a set of 4 vintage mini ashtrays that was issued and bought from the
St Louis cardinals baseball Club. They are made of glass and feature both the old
Busch Stadium (on 2) and the new Busch Memoraila Stadium (on the other 2). The
original box shown below features the St. Louis Cardinals
logo, and an official St. Louis Cardinals metered
1966 postage stamp. This Rare postage Stamp printed from
a Pitney Bowes stamp machine is a collectible by itself.
The stamps used by the St. Louis Cardinals for official
team mailing reads "Its the Cardinals For
Thrills! Action! Suspence!"
The St.
Louis Cardinal Played in Sportsman's Park AKA Busch
Stadium from 1920-1966 when the new Busch Stadium
AKA Busch Memoraila Stadium
(untill 1982 ) was built. These mini ash trays were
sold to mark the transition of ballparks. The Cardinals
would go on to play in their new ballpark until 2006
when they opened their present day ballpark Busch
Stadium (III)
The
