This
is a vintage 1950's novelty camera featuring the 1954
New York Yankees. These cameras were commonly
found in souvenir shops or a locale 5 & 10 Stores
next to the rabbits foot key chains. This camera itself
might have been sold with a small chain for keys.
Looking through the view finder you can view pictures of
Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra, and other 1954 Yankees as you
advance the pictures similar to a View Master. Cameras
were also made with other teams, as well as pictures of
city tourist attractions. The small novelty camera is
very rare , and the price above is based on one auction
where the camera sold for $450.
