This is a
vintage 1944 Philadelphia Stars Pennant sold at Negro League
ballparks for their respective team. Below is the same pennant for the New York Cuban Stars. The
Philly Stars originated from the suburb of Darby, Pa. Originally called the Hilldale Giants, the Stars won the 1934
Negro National League pennant the league they played between 1934-1948 moving to the
Negro American League 1949-1950. Reproductions
