is a vintage 1959 Los Angeles Dodgers World Series Press Pin. In
their first World Series in LA the Dodgers
beat the Chicago White Sox
in this fall
classic four games to two. Press
Pins which have been distributed since 1911, are
distributed to members of the media by the host teams
for the World Series games. The press pins
are made to be worn on the lapel to provide reporters
access to cover the game. This First ever Los Angeles
World Series, Memorial Coliseum press pin
has
a Threaded post, and was made by Balfour.
