The 1940-1942
William Harridge Reach Official American League Baseballs
are identical to the 1939 baseball but for a star added to
each side of the word "Official" on the sweetspot. The
south panel features the Reach Trade Mark Logo with "THE
CUSHIONED CORK CENTER" above the Reach Logo, and "PAT'D
RE. 17200" below.
There are examples of 1940
- 1942 sweetspot baseballs with Reach Logos similar to the
