The 1966 Volpe Tumblers were
made available at local gas stations for a small fee or
and a minimum fill up at the pump. The plastic thermal
tumblers featured an illustrated portrait with the
facsimile signature of the player on the front, and an
action picture with team logo on the opposite side drawn
by artist Nicholas Volpe. The sets consists of 12 players
for each of the following 5 teams; Cincinnati Reds,
Cleveland Indians, New York Mets, Detroit Tigers and Los
Angeles Dodgers.
