Trivial Pursuit is a board game
released in 1981, in which winning is
determined by a player's ability to
answer general knowledge and popular
culture questions. The original Genus
Edition features six categories; (G)
Geography, (E) Entertainment, (H)
History, (AL)Art & Literature, (SN)
Science & Nature, and (SL) Sports &
Leisure. The SL category included
Baseball related questions.
A number of follow-up editions issued through the years included; Genus
II, Genus III, The 1960's, the 1980's,
Millennium, and so on... which included
a Sports & Leisure category. The "All
Star Sports" edition featured six sport
categories, (NNM) Nicknames, (FTB)
Football, (ALL) Catch All, (BKB)
Basketball, (BBL) Baseball, (NBR)
Numbers.
Trivial Pursuit cards are inexpensive, and a fun oddball addition to your
collection. It appeals to the average
baseball fan or collector of a noted
player. Mickey Mantle, Pete Rose, Ty
Cobb, Rod Carew, George Brett, Calton
Fisk, Thurman Munson, Rickey Henderson, and many others.
The cards are numbered to each edition.
