Colorforms is a creative toy named
for the simple shapes and forms cut
from colored vinyl sheeting that cling
to a smooth backing surface without
adhesives. The game produced by
Colorforms Brand, LLC., started-up in
1951, and became most popular during
the 1950s through the 1970s. In 1959,
Colorforms marketed the Play Ball! -
Baseball Game and TV scorer. "Two games
in one! A new Colorforms game for
baseball fans of all ages... Plus handy
home scorer, for TV games on TV. Just
press on players to attach, lift to
play again."
The box lid depicts a Colorforms baseball game in progress, at an artist
rendition of Yankee Stadium. The game
came with a baseball field playing
board; with spinners, TV scorer; grease
pencil (used to keep score) vinyl
baseballs and bats (3 for each team)
and eleven players for each the
pinstriped orange team, and pinstriped

back instructions opens-up to 4 panels
