NOTES:

The Ernie Banks Ball 'n Strike Instructional Batting Game & Record was distributed by H.B.S. Sales in 1977. The game came with a hard ball attached to a 20 foot long-lasting cord that could be seen through a cellophane window at the front of the box. After Ernie banks was elected into the Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1977, a panel was added to the front with an exclamation! of the event. The top of the box that holds the ball and cord reads; "GREAT for Little Leaguers high school and college players! Dad (or Mom) and the boys can have a ball with Ernie Banks Ball'nStrike"

The Ball is toward the center, and to the left reads; " Ball'nStrike Includes Hard Ball And 20 Foot Long-Lasting Cord Plus Chicago Cubs Ernie Banks voice on a 13 minute record" on the post 1977 game the ball migrates to the far right and this wording is dropped to the front panel.

The 13 minute, 33⅓ RPM 7" Flexi-Disc record was produced by Eva-Tone Soundsheets Inc. Featured on the recording is "Instructional Batting Tips From the Chicago Cubs All-Time Home Run Hitter." The record sleeve is attached on the back of the box and the front pictures Ernie Banks with the record partially showing through a die cut window. Below reads; "Listen to Ernie Tell You How To Be A Better Hitter-Then Practice With His New Game!" * Tested By Big League Hitters *Improves coordination * You Control Ball Speed And Height * Lets You Practice In A Small Area * No Chasing After The Ball"

The Back of the " 2-Man Ball'nStrike" basiclly provides the same information as the front but with an illustration of two men using the game. At the bottom is an H.B.S Sales distributor credit line.
