NOTES:
 
    Patented in 1911 the Inside Base Ball Game was made by the Popular Games Co. MGF's,  112 East 19th St., NY. The game features 20 player discs of the 1913 World Series teams, the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Athletics. The players include: Baker, Bender, Bescher, Burns, Bush, Collins, Doyle, E. Murphy, Myers, Mathewson, Marquard, Merkle, McInnis, Oldring, Plank, Schang, Shafer, Snodgrass, Stock, and Strunk. The discs also feature the players position (abbreviated), League (AL, NL) and team (Philadelphia, New York)

The tin lithograph featured a Spinner in the center, two dials (one with 2 arrows, the other with four) and was sold in two board sizes, 18" x 18" (pictured above) and 13" x 13". The 1 1/8" wall around the game features "Rules of the Game" Starting off with "Follow the rules adopted by the National and American Leagues." There are two dials used for playing the game. The dial on the left has two arrows for keeping score, Home team and Visiting team, each with 0-15 Runs. The dial on the right with four arrows, keeps track of innings, strikes, balls, and outs. The spinner in the center is used for "play by play" instructions at each base.
