Conducting business from 1959 to 1997, Child Guidance Toys Inc., located in
the Bronx New York, produced plastic
educational toys for children of
preschool age. Their 1963 line of
magnetic guidance game designs, were
varnish protected lithographed metal,
framed in break resistant high impact
plastic. Ideal for travel, the line of
magnetic games included; Spingo,
Checkers, Circular Tic-Tac-Toe,
Continental State Tour, Junior Pacheezy,
and Magnetic Baseball.
The 9.5 by 11.5 inch, Magnetic Baseball metal lithograph playing board
featured; a baseball field, two
spinners for pitching, and hitting, 4
yellow and 4 red base-runner markers
(kept in the dugout) a nine inning line
score, wipe-off crayon and instruction
sheet. The game was to be played
following the rules of baseball.
