In 1969
the Henal Novelties & Premiums Corp.
introduced a quarter assortment
baseball mix for gumball vending
machines which included; high-bouncing
Chemtoy balls, iron-on decals, cap
patches, baseball helmets, MLB team
buttons, glass dome rings, and these
plastic baseball rings. The rings which
represent all 24 MLB teams were "Made
In Canada" and measure 3/4 inches in
diameter. The plastic baseball rings
with team nicknames were made in
various colors including; black, light
blue, dark blue, green, orange, red and
yellow.
All the rings with city names were made
with silver lettering and stitching
with the exception of yellow which
comes only with the nickname in gold.
There are no known city names on yellow
rings. At the same time the color
plastic rings were issued, white based
rings featuring letters and stitching
with iridescent colors were also
produced. The iridescent colors are
found in blue, green, purple, and red.
All feature the team nicknames with the
exception of dark red which comes only
with the city name.
