New York based, Transogram Co. Inc. The
Baseball sized Zipee practice ball was
also made for Softball, No. 3149. From

The front of the retail hang card
attached with three staples to the poly
bag that holds the ball, reads:
"Roger
Maris" in script, at the top,
with a Roger Maris head shot to the
right, with a red background (the
Softball is green). Inside a white
strip below, reads: "OFICIAL Zipee,
PRACTICE," and below that with a black
background "BASEBALL" in white print.
The back of the Hang Card at the top
reads: "ROGER MARIS" says..." and to
the right is the "Transy King Of Toys
Logo" Bellow reads: "Zipee is the
PRACTICE BASEBALL, with "PLAY CONTROL,"
The Zipee true-flight baseball can't be
hit too far (about 125 feet when
batted) and thus doesn't require too
much chasing out of bounds. Because of
the special holes in Zipee, you have
"Built in" Play control and can pitch a
curve ball. Ideal for safe backyard
play or at parks and beaches. (it
floats too)." The bottom legal line
reads: "Copyright MCMLXI Transogram Co.
