NOTES:

Created and developed by Normal Tutor at Tutor Metal Products of New York, NY, in the 1940s, the Electric Football games hit the market with great success. Around 1950 the company introduced the Tudor - True Action Electric Baseball Game. The company that specialized and made sheet metal products soon change the name to Tudor Games. The electric baseball games sold during the 1950's had a rectangular playing field with metal based runners that rounded the bases when the vibrator motor was turned on. By the 1960's the games featured a square playing field, and the runners were all plastic.

The box for this 1970 edition of the Tudor electric baseball game measures 19.75" x 19.75" x 2.25," and the cover features a player in an Oakland A's uniform number 19, which should make it Bert Campaneris. You can pitch fast balls, change-ups curves, with exclusive pitch direction control, hidden behind the left field fence. You can hit the magnetic ball for a home run, triple, double, single, and even bunt using the remote control batting handle. Runners could be thrown out at any base with the flexible fielder which is secured to the top corner of the center field fences. The fences fit into a slot at the back of the game feature a center field scoreboard.
