NOTES:

The Wiggle Color TV pencil sharpener was made by the Sterling Plastics company, and Kohner Brothers of New York. Kohner was best know for their push button action puppets, and wooden pull toys. Kohner also made Color Action TV interlocking Building blocks with the Vari-vue flicker lenticular lens panel. The lenticular lens was licenses out by the Vari-Vue company.

The "Wiggle Picture" on the plastic TV pencil sharpener is a Vari-vue flicker panel of a baseball player swinging a bat. Lenticular technology was invented and popularized by the Vari-Vue company back in the 1930's. Made available in gumball machines during the 1950s VariVue Flicker Rings became the rage. By the 1960's, VariVue started to license its lenticular imaging technology to key major printing companies around the world. Licenses were granted to companies in Mexico, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Japan, Indonesia, Singapore, and Germany, where this watch was made.

The back of the 1" x 1.75" x 2" miniature TV pencil sharpener reads "Sterling No. 583 Kohner No. 601, Made in U.S.A." Other sports related Wiggle Picture pencil sharpeners include boxers.
