   This Armour Franks advertisement appeared in the May 1960 issue of Boys' Life Magazine. The ad offers a chance to win a Free Trip to the 1960 All-Star game, 2,300 prizes, and get a free baseball trading coin in every pack of Armour Star Franks. 20 Free Trips for first place winners, and their Mothers or Dads to the All-Star Game in New York July 13. You'll see many of New York's fabulous sights... have wonderful seats for the All-Star game.. meet famous Big Leaguers-in person-at the Armour Baseball Star Banquet. It's so easy to enter! Just complete the fourth line of this jingle, to rhyme with the third line:

FOR ARMOUR STAR FRANKS YOU'LL SAY HOORAY
THEY BUILD UP ENERGY FOR WORK AND PLAY
THEY'RE PROTEIN RICH, SIZZLY-JUICY, TOO
.............................................................

 A sample last line is provided - "THEIR OPEN FIRE FLAVOR'S JUST RIGHT FOR YOU!"
Official entry blank and sample contest rules were provided on the Armour Star Franks package backboard. All entries were to be postmarked no later than June 18-recieved no later than June 22.

 The Plastic coins, the size of a silver dollar depicted 20 famous big leaguers, with their teams, their positions, and their stats for 1959. A player checklist featured in the ad includes; Hank Aaron, Bob Allison, Ernie Banks, Ken Boyer, Rocky Colavito, Gene Conley, Del Crandall, Bud Daley, Don Drysdale, Whitey Ford, Nellie Fox, Al Kaline, Frank Malzone, Mickey Mantle, Eddie Mathews, Willie Mays, Vada Pinson, Dick Stuart, Gus Triandos, and Early Wynn.  free 10 coin offer was also made available for two backboards.

 2,300 other Prizes shown in the ad include: Sixth prize - 100 Spalding Fielders Gloves; Seventh Prize - 1,000 Hanna Batrite Baseball Bats; Eighth Prize - 1,000 Spalding Baseballs. The Armour Star Franks ad also appeared in 1960 Newspapers. Another advertisement in this issue of Boys' Life, You can win a $20,000 Baseball Park Free for collecting Kraft Caramels and Kraft Fudges Bags.
