The 1971 newspaper Sunday comic strip ad features New York Mets pitcher Tom Seaver saying; "Get Your Own Official

A Protective Device) The comic
continues on how "Billy" got his
baseball helmet. Billy's friend then
runs home to ask his dad to start
shaving with Gillette Platinum-Plus
Blades.
