Manny's Baseball Land Ad

This Manny's Baseball Land advertisement and order form appears on the back of the cover for the 1994 issue of Baseball Illustrated magazine. The advertisement features; Alex Fernandez modeling a Chicano White Sox, Jet Pullover Jacket by Starter, Don Mattingly in a New York Yankees Satin Starter Jacket, Greg Maddux in an Atlanta Braves Dugout Jacket and Lenny Dykstra modeling Philadelphia Phillies Starter Stratosphere Jacket. Dykstra is also featured on the cover. The order form at the bottom could be used to order a catalog for $2.00, or free with every order. Customers could also place an order using the toll free 1-800-PRO-TEAM phone number.

Manny's Baseball land since 1949, operated a souvenir and sporting goods shop, opposite of Yankee Stadium. Located at 838 River Avenue in the Bronx, Manny's moved to Cliffside Park NJ in 1978, and expanding operations to Hackensack NJ as the leagues started licensing sports products. In 1981 Manny s began the 1-800-Pro-Team business, selling MLB, NFL, NBA, and NHL souvenirs and officially licensed fan apparel. Manny s moved to Hobe Sound Florida in 1990 prior to their final location in Palm City, Florida when it was sold in 1996.
