1977-1984 Lee MacPhail Rawlings OAL Baseball

NOTES: |
In 1977 Rawlings becomes the official manufacturer
of Major League baseballs. The 1977-1984 Lee MacPhail
Rawlings baseballs can be dated by a dot system that is
located below the word "Haiti" (where the baseballs are
made) and the Rawlings logo on the north panel. The
sweetspot basically remains the same with minor changes to
the size of the stamping, and a different Lee MacPhail
signature.
In 1980 the "word" Haiti is moved
to the center of "Rawlings" and in 1982 it is moved back
to the right. Starting in 1981 the printing on the ball is
sharper and a brighter blue ink is used. The south panel
feature "The Cushioned Cork Center" Stamp and centered
below is "RO-A" (Rawlings Official-American)

centered below Rawlings 1982/1984 align right under Haiti
