The 1985 -1994
Official American League Baseballs are identical in design
as the 1994 baseball but for the change in League
Presidents, and the manufacturing stamps below the
Rawlings logo on the north panel. "Bobby Brown Pres."
replaces Lee MacPhail on the sweetspot.
Note: Bobby Brown American
League baseballs made around 1985-1989 that have "Haiti"
placed under the Rawlings logo stamp were made without the
use of distilled water. This allows for enzymes to
potentially turn the color (yellowing) of the ball over
time.
-The 1985 - 1989 baseballs have
the "HAITI" manufacturing stamp below the Rawlings logo.
-The 1990 - 1992 baseballs have the
"COSTA RICA" stamp below the Rawlings logo.
-The
1993 - 1994 there is no manufacturing
