NOTES:

The International League was a triple A minor league baseball league which was formed about 1886. (Class AA 1912–1945, Class AAA 1946-2020) The league was disbanded before the 2021 season in conjunction with Major League Baseball's reorganization of Minor League Baseball. All 14 franchises were merged into the new Triple-A East.

The early International League baseballs were adopted National league baseballs stamped "Official International League" on the opposite sweet spot of the "Official National League" baseball. The balls also featured the International League President stamp on one of the panels. The baseballs can be dated by the Pres. stamp, the manufacturer trademark logo, and patents.

Pictured above, and below, is an example of a Charles H. Knapp International League baseball, dated to 1929-1933. Official National League Ford Frick baseballs were used for the 1934-1936, Charles H. Knapp International League baseball. After Knapp died on July 28, 1936, Spalding produced 1936, Frank J. Shaugnessy International League baseballs, exclusively for the league, with the PRES. stamp on the side panel.

Spalding also manufactured International League baseballs in Canada, for games played in Canada. Below lists International league presidents, years served, and manufactures that produced baseballs for the league during their term.
