NOTES:

The 1956 -1962 Rawlings Official Negro American League J. B. Martin Baseball, was the last ball used before the league folded after the 1962 season. Wilson Sporting goods produced the Official Negro American League baseballs before Rawlings won the contract around 1956. The Rawlings No. RO cushioned Cork Center baseball is is manufactured to the exact specifications of the National Commission of Professional Baseball Leagues.

The Negro American League was formed in 1937. Wilson Sporting Goods also supplied baseballs for the existing Negro National League and used the catalog No. W150CC baseballs for both leagues. In 1949 Wilson changed the catalog designation to A1010. After loosing most of their big name stars to the Major leagues, by 1950 the Negro National League had folded. Wilson continued to manufacture baseballs for the Negro American League until about 1955.

J. B. Martin was president of the Negro American League from 1940 through to 1962, its final year of existence.
