NOTES:

The No. R7 Rawlings "Rocket" ball was a popular boys' size baseball, made with a "Klo-Ko" cover. Most sporting good companies made a version of the "Rocket" ball from about 1900-1930's, which had a compress cotton center, and a Leatheroid, imitation leather (Klo-Ko) cover. Listed for .10¢ the Rocket ball was the lowest priced baseball in the 1930 Rawlings trade catalog. The No. R1 Rawlings Official League baseball was their highest priced at $1.85.

Other Junior size baseballs in the 1930 Rawlings catalog include; the highest priced ($1.50) No. R1B Rawlings Boys' Official League Ball, made with a horsehide cover, and sewed with red and black thread, No. R20 Rawlings "Junior League" horsehide cover ball (.50¢), and the No30 Rawlings "Leader" horsehide cover ball (.25¢)
