NOTES:

The Red & Green Stitch No. 1L Reach League Ball, first appears in the 1914 catalog. At a cost of $1.00 it was Guaranteed to be superior to any other maker's Rubber Center ball which is listed at $1.25 retail. The Reach League ball was officially adopted by numerous semi-professional and amateur leagues. In 1916 the ball was renamed "Reach Official League" and given the No. 1R catalog designation. The name was changed again in 1928 to "Official League Ball" when the Rubber Center was changed to Cork, the Cork Center patent stamp "Pat'D Aug. 31-09" was added, and given the catalog designation 1C.

In 1932 the name was reverted back to "Reach Official League" but with a Cork Center given the catalog designation No. 1C. Then in 1934 the No. 1C, was named "Reach League Ball" The Reach League ball was also made available with a Rubber Center, and given the No. RL catalog designation. Both the 1928-1931 Official League, and the 1932-1936 Reach League Balls had the same catalog write up. "Made with the original Reach patent Cork and Rubber Center which, before the invention of our New Cushion Cork Center ball, was the official League Ball of the game from 1910 to 1926.
