NOTES:

This "Official Major League Specifications" Spalding baseball No. 0 was manufactured from 1974-1976. The model No. 0 was designated for Official American League baseballs that also used blue ink, but this ball was sold in the same box used for National League baseballs, until 1976. The Official National league baseballs had the designation No. 1 and used black ink. The "Official Major League Specifications" baseball was also made with the National League model No. 1, with black ink. The "Official Major League Specifications" AE white baseballs were also sold with AW orange covers.

The baseballs were given the manufacturers catalog number 41-311 for retail sale, recommended for use by amateur and scholastic leagues. The Reach no. 0. and Spalding No. 1 catalog designations were used for Official Major League baseballs until 1976, when in 1977 the contract was won by Rawlings to produce the Official Major League baseball. Spalding then marketed the "Official Major League Specifications" baseballs. In 1992 Spalding stopped sewing baseballs in Haiti, after the Haiti trade embargo.
