There is little information available
about the manufacturer of these
baseball bats. The inside of the oval
center brand reads: "Genuine, Airized,
Made In U.S.A." There is no information
on the company, or location where the
bats were produced. The Genuine "Airized"
Baseball bats, were advertised in 1946,
by the Barr Sporting Goods store in
Bristol Tennessee. The Airized
"Professional" bat also shows up in a
1946 Matt Ditsch sporting goods ad, in
Madison, Wisconsin.
Three known block letter, last name endorsement models include:
"Professional (in script) FOX MODEL,"
FOXX TYPE, and OTT MODEL.
