NOTES:

The P. Ballantine and Sons Brewing Company was a long time radio & TV sponsor of the New York Yankees during the 1940s to the 1960s. This 16 inch "Ballantine Family day" Louisville Slugger Mini baseball bat was given to employees at a Ballantine company outing held at Yankee Stadium. The bat was accompanied with a typed letter on Yankee stationary; facsimile signed by co-owner Dan Topping, dated August 27, 1960, welcoming "Our friends at Ballantine" to the August 27, 1960 double header. This was not a scheduled double header. Game No. 44 scheduled for July 27, was rained out and added to the scheduled game on August 27, to create the double header.

In 1964 a group of 2,500 employees and their families attended a Ballantine Family Day celebration and were given a 5.75" long baseball bat mechanical pencil.
