The St. Maurice No. 100LL
Babe Ruth Little League baseball bat has no manufacturer
information except that it was made in
Canada. The bat was produced and
privately branded for a discount or
department store in the St Maurice,
Quebec, Canada area. The bat was likely
made in the Louisville Slugger Canadian
plant. Louisville Slugger
made a variety of Little League
baseball bats with
the same yellow finish, and owns the
rights to use Babe Ruth's name.
In 1974 the 'St Maurice baseball bats' appeared in an Army and Navy
Department Store, sporting goods advertisement.
While turning a profit, the Army & Navy
stores saves the consumer money, buying
bankruptcy stock at pennies on the
dollar of the wholesale cost.
