NOTES:

Issued in 1962 the LA Nodding Head Baseball Dolls are commonly referred to as the "Don Drysdale" series. There are three dolls in the series, a batter with a red base, a catcher with a yellow base, and a pitcher with a green base. The Dolls With "L.A." on the cap, and chest, as advertised, were made available for both the Los Angeles Dodgers and Angels baseball teams. These Bobbing Head Dolls are very rare and it is unknown what other teams were made. There is a Seattle Rainiers of the Pacific Coast League nodder that has recently surfaced, so there could be other west coast teams represented from the PCL, and I wouldn't rule out the San Francisco Giants of the National League.

The Dodger and Angel "Nodding Head Baseball Dolls" were made available through a mail order offer advertised in the Los Angles Times Newspaper in April of 1962. It is not known if they were sold at the Stadiums or through Danny Goodman who ran the concessions for the Dodgers. The L.A. bobbing head dolls were made available for $1.00 each or three for $2.50. by Sanjo Products, of Pasadena, California.
