Seven baseball themed stamps were represented out of the 150.

On February 3, 1998, the United States Postal Service issued the Celebrate The Century: 1900s commemorative stamp souvenir sheet in Washington, D.C. The first baseball themed postage stamps appears in this decade celebrating the First World Series.
