NOTES:

Five distinct subsets each containing cards for 30 players, were issued between 1919 and 1923 by the International Feature Service Inc. (IFS) The 1920 W516-1-2 set consists of 30 hand cut cards, each measuring about 1-1/2” x 2-3/8.” The set depicts the reverse negative images of the inaugural W516-1 set issued the previous year.

The colorized cards each rendering the respective athlete with a color border and a thin black line. A thick, blank border frames all of the elements. The player’s name, team, position and the card number all are identified in “hand-lettered” print at the bottom of the frame. The checklist below lists the 30 players and the respective numbers for sets W516-1 and W516-2
