NOTES:

Burger Chef was a national fast-food restaurant chain, that operated from 1954 through to 1996. Second only to McDonalds in the number of restaurants nationwide in 1973, Burger Chef had 1,050 locations, including some in Canada. Burger Chef first introduced the “Fun Meal” for kids in 1974, five years before McDonalds introduce the "Happy Meal"

The Funmeal consisted of a hamburger, french fries, soft drink, and dessert all served in a tray made from thin cardboard. In 1977 Burger Chef featured "Triple Play Funmeal" trays. Each fun meal box featured nine player MSA - Mike Schechter Associates discs, from one of the then current 24 major league teams in 1976. Reggie Jackson wearing an airbrushed Orioles cap was included with the Yankees, but did not play with the team until 1977. The 2⅜ inch diameter player discs, 216 in all, could be punched out to collect or trade. The discs made by MSA, are only licensed by the Players Association, so the team cap logos are airbrushed away.

The back of the discs feature Burger Chef cartoon characters which include; Burger Chef, Jeff, Crankenburger, Burgerilla, Fangburger, Mrs. Fangburger, Fangburger's Daughter, Burgerini, and Where Wolf.

Instructions for assembling the game board which is inside the tray, and playing Rules are on the box. Base Runners, to be detached from the box include Fangburger's bat, Fangburger's son, Burgerini's Rabbit and Blueburger. The "Printed baseball from top of box" and placed on Home Plate, and "blow 'em with a Straw into the scoring boxes."
