The 1979 Hostess baseball card set
consist of 150 cards. The hand cut
cards measure approximately 2-1/4 by
3-1/4 inches. The cards were made
available, printed in three card
panels, on the bottom of specially
marked family size boxes of Hostess
snack cakes such as
Choco-diles, Cup
Cakes, and Twinkies. A Big Leaguer
Baseball Cards Organizer was also made
available.
The organizer which measures
2".5" x 3.5" x 3.5 when folded into a
box, features a
checklist for the 1979 Hostess baseball
cards. On the opposite panel reads:
"This Card Collection Is The Property
Of" with a space provided below for the
owners name. The box was designed to
hold all 150 cards.
