Casy At The Bat certificate card

"Casey at the Bat" is a poem written in 1888 by Ernest L. Thayer. A dramatic narrative about a baseball game, the poem became popular on the vaudeville circuit, and has become one of the best-known poems in American literature. The Disney version of the poem "Casey At The Bat" adapted from the ballad of the same title as dramatized in the Walt Disney motion picture "Make Mine Music," was released in 1946.

As part of the WDCC - Walt Disney Classics Collection, Disney released the "Casey At The Bat" American Folk Heroes 1996 Annual Edition figurine. The third Annual sculpture in the American Folk Heroes series. (First-1994 Pecos Bill, Second-1995 Slue Foot Sue )

As the card reads: "Due to their complexity these sculptures may be obtained only through advanced commission.
