The first Topps Team Checklist premium
was offered in 1974. When you sent in
.30¢ and one 1974 Topps baseball card
wrapper you received two 10" x 21"
uncut panel sheets featuring cards for
all 24 MLB teams. Single cards were
also inserted into packs of regular
issue topps cards. The uncut checklist
premiums were printed on thinner card
stock than the pack issue versions.
Starting in 1977, after the Major
League Baseball expansion,
Topps offered uncut 3 panel sheets with
twenty-six teams and a special offer
card.
In 1982 Topps offered Batting & Pitching Leader Checklists, for all 26
teams and a special offer card for a
Baseball Card Collector box.
This would be the last year Topps
offered the checklist premiums.
