The Joe Torre Pine-Tar Cloth hit the
market sometime around 1971-1975. It
was produced by Adirondack, a division
of A-T-O Inc., Dolgeville, N.Y. 13329.
Early in 1971, A-T-O who owned Rawlings
since 1969, acquired Adirondack
Industries, before a merger in 1975.

pine tar cloth inside.
The pine-tar cloth was pre-treated for instant bat application; Improves
Batting grip; eliminates messy liquid;
applies easily and quickly; holds
proper pine tar saturation level, and
stores in resalable plastic bag.
