NOTES:
 
   Circa 1929 Collis' Famous Combination Ankle Supporter. The leather, shoe string, corset like ankle supporters were inserted in the box along with instruction cards. The box features the Collis "Corset" Famous trademark logo at the top, picturing vintage graphics of a football, and baseball players on the front, along with an illustration that features the "Improved" and "seamless back" ankle supporter.

The "Collis' famous ankle supporter for weak ankles Patented," features a "Patented seamless back absolutely no Chafing" and has a "Reinforced Shank" The illustration also shows the spats like ankle support being worn on the outside of the shoe, and "Removable Bones" on the inner side of the supporter, as advertised in the 1909 ad below. The back of the box features "Collis' Skating Outfit For Weak Ankles" illustrating the supporters use with skates, picturing graphics of two hockey players.

The side of the box reads: "Mr. Dealer Kindly display a few of these boxes in your show window or on counter. You will sell many pairs by doing so."
