Joe DiMaggio Baseball Shoes were
produced by Endicott Johnson
Corporation of Endicott NY. The new
line of sports shoes was distributed in
1961. The genuine leather baseball
shoes were made for all ages, and were
also available in official approved
Little League models. The full leather
lined baseball shoes featured deep
digging spikes, steel reinforced soles,
and arches.
The shoe box lid pictures Joe DiMaggio in an after swing pose, with his
facsimile signature, and the old Yankee
Stadium in the background. The top of
the lid reads "It Pays to Play with
EJ." The short side of the box also
pictures Joe DiMaggio with his
facsimile signature, style number, and
shoe size. Inside the right shoe reads,
"Designed And Styled By" with a "Joe
DiMaggio" endorsement facsimile
signature below, in gold. There are
different variations of boxes, and shoe
styles, sold from 1961 to 1966.
The Joe DiMaggio baseball shoes came with "The Yankee Clipper" photo Shoe
tag which also featured a facsimile
autograph with career highlights on the
