NOTES:

The Official Batting Order lineup cards from the game played; at Anaheim Stadium on September 30, 1992, when Kansas City Royal George Brett got his Milestone 3,000th hit against the California Angeles. Brett batted 3rd as the DH on the (Visiting Club) Official Batting Order card filled out by manager Hal McRae, and signed at the bottom. California's Anaheim Stadium Ground Rules is printed on the back. The California Angeles lineup card was filled out, and signed at the bottom by Angeles manager Buck Rodgers, with the Ground rules on the back.

The Official Batting Order cards came in a 4 part carbon copy pad that consisted of 4 sheets. The original on the top was filled out by the manager which made 3 carbon copies. Two lineup cards are submitted to the umpire by the manager or coach of each team before the game when they go over the ground rules. The umpire keeps one copy of each team, and gives the second copy to the opposing manager. The other is for the official scorekeeper, but Little attention is paid to who received which copy. Both lineup cards shown here are the originals from the top, and the manager's signatures were authenticated by PSA/DNA.

The value for batting order lineup cards will vary based on age, the lineup for that game, the signature of the manager on the original copy, team, stadium, and accomplishments of noted players for that game. As with all collectibles condition is important but the crease caused by folding is normal. In general the value of a lineup card from a common regular season game from the 1990's era could start in the $25.-$50. price range. The significance of the game, noted players in the lineup or personal milestones accomplished will raise the value accordingly.

Game played on Wednesday September 30, 1992, at Anaheim Stadium. The Kansas City Royals 4 , California Angeles 0. George Brett (KCR) Career Hit 3,000. Kansas City Manager Hal McRae, California Manager Buck Rodgers. Home plate Umpire - Rick Reed.
