This crossed bats and ball swizzle
stick is from the prestigious Otesaga
hotel in Cooperstown N.Y. Used to stir
drinks they are sometimes kept as a
souvenir or collected. The back back
reads "Visit The Baseball Hall Of Fame"
Only a short walk to the Baseball Hall
Of Fame in Cooperstown, the Otesaga
Hotel is nestled on the southern shore
of Lake Otesaga. During the Hall Of
Fame induction week-end, this historic
hotel which was built in 1909, turns
into an exclusive weekend hideaway for
Hall of Famers and their families. The
hotel closes down to the public to host
Major League Baseball stars coming into
town for the annual Hall of Fame
Induction. Some notable names of past
inductees include Cal Ripken, Nolan
Ryan and Reggie Jackson.
