NOTES:

Beams bicentennial Bourbon Presents the Saturday Evening Post Collection. This decanter is 1 of 7, Jim Beam's 1976 Bicentennial limited edition Series. The front of the decanter pictures Norman Rockwell's "Game Called Because of Rain" (also called The Three Umpires) that was featured on the cover of The April 23, 1949 issue of the Saturday Evening Post. This cover picture by Norman Rockwell (as described on the back of the decanter) depicts the old Ebbets Field, then the home of the Brooklyn Dodgers.....Norman Rockwell painted 320 covers for the Saturday evening Post.

The James Beam Distilling Co. issued six decanters featuring Norman Rockwell Saturday Evening Post Covers. The decanter was sold in a specially marked Black box with a red white, and blue "Bicentennial" sandwiched between Beams Bourbon. The box that has an open window displacing the decanter doesn't seem to add value to the decanter. The bottom front of the decanter reads: BEAM Bicentennial BOURBON 100 MONTH OLD, Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, 4/5 QUART   80 PROOF.
